Jesus Is the Son of God

The Bible identifies Jesus as the eternal Son of God. At His baptism, the Father declared: “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.” (Matthew 3:17, NIV). He is not just a great teacher or prophet—He is the divine Son.

Jesus Is God in the Flesh

Jesus came to earth as God in human form. “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” (John 1:14, NIV). He is fully God and fully man.

Jesus Came to Save Us

The mission of Jesus was to bring salvation. “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” (Luke 19:10, NIV). He lived a sinless life and willingly died on the cross as the sacrifice for our sins: “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8, NIV).

Jesus Rose from the Dead

On the third day after His crucifixion, Jesus rose again, defeating death. “He is not here; he has risen, just as he said.” (Matthew 28:6, NIV). His resurrection proves His power over sin and death and assures us of eternal life.

Jesus Is Lord and Savior

Because of who He is and what He has done, Jesus is Lord over all. “Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name.” (Philippians 2:9, NIV). To follow Him means confessing Him as Savior and living in obedience to His commands (Romans 10:9–10).

Jesus Will Come Again

The Bible promises that Jesus will return. “So Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.” (Hebrews 9:28, NIV).

Following Jesus

Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, God in the flesh, who came to save humanity through His death and resurrection. He is Lord and Savior, exalted above all, and will return one day to bring final salvation to His people. The call of Scripture is clear: “Follow me.” (Matthew 4:19, NIV).
