Walking in God’s Love: A Daily Devotional

Scripture

“And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.” — 1 John 4:16 (NIV)

Reflection

God’s love is the foundation of our faith and the source of our strength. Unlike human love, His love is unconditional, unchanging, and eternal. As we rely on His love, we are called to reflect it in our relationships, showing kindness, forgiveness, and compassion. Walking in God’s love means not only receiving it but also allowing it to flow through us to others.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your unfailing love. Help me to rely on Your love daily and not on my own strength or understanding. Remind me that Your love is constant, no matter what I face.

Lord, fill my heart with Your compassion so that I may reflect Your love to those around me. Teach me to be patient, kind, and forgiving, even when it’s difficult. Let others see Your presence in the way I love and serve.

May my life be rooted in Your love, and may everything I do bring glory to You, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
