Trusting God in Uncertain Times: A Daily Devotional

Scripture

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” — Proverbs 3:5–6 (NIV)

Reflection

Uncertainty is part of life, but God calls us to trust Him with all our hearts. Our limited understanding can lead to worry or confusion, but His wisdom never fails. Submitting our plans to Him opens the door to His guidance and direction. Even when the path ahead is unclear, we can be confident that God is leading us step by step.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, I thank You that You are trustworthy and faithful. When life feels uncertain, remind me to lean on You instead of my own understanding. Guide my steps and show me the way I should go.

Help me to surrender my plans to You and to rest in the assurance that You are in control. Strengthen my faith so that I can follow You with confidence, even when I don’t see the full picture.

Lord, I trust that You will direct my path according to Your perfect will, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
