The Peace of Christ

Scripture

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” — John 14:27 (NIV)

Reflection

Jesus offers us a peace that the world cannot give. It is not dependent on circumstances, wealth, or success, but on His presence and His promises. In the midst of trials, His peace guards our hearts and gives us courage. We are called to receive His peace and refuse to let fear control our lives.

Prayer

Father, I thank You for the gift of Your peace. When my heart is troubled or fear tries to overwhelm me, remind me of Your promise that I do not have to be afraid. Fill me today with Your peace that surpasses understanding.

Lord, help me to rest in Your presence and to keep my eyes fixed on You. Teach me to live with courage, knowing that You are always with me and that nothing can separate me from Your love.

I receive Your peace today and choose to walk in it, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
