Scripture Reading
“The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.” — Psalm 23:1 (NIV)
Devotional
Sheep are dependent on their shepherd for guidance, protection, and provision. In the same way, we depend on God. David reminds us that because the Lord is our Shepherd, we lack nothing.
When we walk with Him, we are never without what we truly need. He leads us beside still waters, restores our soul, and protects us even in the darkest valleys. His presence is our greatest comfort.
Trusting God as our Shepherd means surrendering control and following His lead. He knows the path ahead and will faithfully care for His flock—you and me.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for being my Shepherd. Guide me, provide for me, and keep me close to You each day, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
