Strength in Weakness

Scripture Reading

“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV)

Devotional

We often think strength means never struggling. But God teaches us that His power shines brightest in our weakness. When we admit our need, we make space for His grace to work fully in us.

Paul understood that his weakness was not a barrier but a platform for God’s power. Instead of hiding our struggles, we can bring them to God, trusting Him to give us strength beyond our own.

Remember: you don’t have to have it all together. God’s grace is enough, and His strength is made perfect in your weakness.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You that Your grace is sufficient for me. When I feel weak, remind me that Your strength is made perfect in my weakness, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
