Prayer for Guidance

Prayer Devotional

Life is full of decisions, big and small. Sometimes it’s hard to know which path to take or what choice is right. God promises that when we trust Him, He will guide our steps and lead us in the way we should go.

Seeking God’s guidance means spending time in prayer, listening to His Word, and being sensitive to His Spirit. It’s about surrendering our plans and asking Him to direct our hearts and minds.

Remember, God’s guidance is perfect even when we cannot see the full picture. When we rely on Him, our path becomes clear, and His wisdom shines through every decision.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, I come before You seeking Your guidance. Lord, I confess that I don’t always know the right path, and I lean on my own understanding too often. Teach me to trust You completely and to submit my plans to Your will.

Father, give me clarity and discernment in every decision I face today. Help me to hear Your voice clearly through Your Word, through prayer, and through the counsel of godly people.

Lord, strengthen my faith as I follow Your direction. Help me walk confidently in the steps You set before me, trusting that You will make my paths straight, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
