Prayer for God’s Presence: Drawing Near to Him Daily

“Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you.” — James 4:8 (ESV)

Reflection

God invites us to draw close to Him, promising that when we seek Him, He will meet us. His presence brings peace, strength, and joy that the world cannot give. Spending time with Him each day deepens our faith and renews our hearts.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, I desire to be close to You today. Thank You for the promise that when I draw near to You, You will draw near to me. Fill me with Your presence and let me experience the joy of walking with You.

Lord, help me to set aside distractions and focus on what matters most—knowing You more. May Your Spirit guide my thoughts, calm my heart, and strengthen my faith as I spend time in Your presence.

Let Your nearness be my comfort and my strength. Teach me to seek You daily, and may my life reflect the peace and love that comes from being close to You, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
