Scripture Reading: Isaiah 26:3 — “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You.”
Reflection
Waiting can feel like the hardest part of faith. Whether we are waiting for healing, an answer to prayer, or a door to open, the silence can test our patience and trust in God. Yet, Isaiah reminds us that peace isn’t found in the arrival of what we’re waiting for, but in trusting the One who holds the outcome.
When our hearts grow anxious, God invites us to fix our minds on Him. Peace is not the absence of struggle—it’s the presence of confidence that God is still working. Each quiet moment in waiting is an opportunity to deepen our faith and strengthen our relationship with Him.
Sometimes, the waiting becomes the blessing. It is in the in-between seasons that God refines our character, shapes our desires, and teaches us to depend fully on Him. What feels like delay is often divine preparation.
Today, release your timeline into God’s hands. Trust that He has not forgotten you, and that His peace can sustain you right where you are.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for being faithful even when I cannot see what You are doing. You are my peace in every season of uncertainty. Teach my heart to rest in You, even when I don’t understand the timing.
Lord, help me to trust that Your delays are not denials. Remind me that You are always on time and that Your ways are higher than mine. Fill me with patience and faith as I wait on You.
I choose to release my worries and surrender my timeline to You. I believe You are working all things together for my good and for Your glory. In every moment of waiting, may my faith grow stronger. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
