Scripture Reading
“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” (Ephesians 4:32, NIV)
Kindness Rooted in God’s Love
Kindness is not simply politeness or niceness—it is a reflection of God’s heart toward humanity. God’s kindness leads us to repentance (Romans 2:4), and as His children, we are called to extend that same kindness to others.
Practical Kindness
Kindness shows itself in small and big ways: a word of encouragement, helping someone in need, forgiving an offense, or simply choosing compassion over judgment. These acts become testimonies of God’s love at work within us.
Kindness in a Harsh World
In a culture often marked by harshness, impatience, and division, kindness stands out as a bright light. Proverbs 11:17 reminds us that kindness benefits not only those who receive it but also those who give it. It blesses both ways.
Prayer
Father, thank You for showing me kindness through Christ. Fill my heart with compassion and teach me to express kindness in my words and actions. May my life reflect Your mercy and love to everyone I meet. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
