“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” — Lamentations 3:22–23 (NIV)

Every day we face challenges, failures, and mistakes. But God reminds us that His mercies are new every morning. Yesterday’s struggles don’t define today, because His grace meets us afresh each day.

When we wake up to a new morning, we also wake up to a new measure of God’s compassion. His faithfulness never runs dry, and His love never ends. What a comfort to know that no matter how heavy yesterday was, today begins with mercy.

Let us start each day with gratitude, remembering that God’s love and forgiveness are greater than our shortcomings. With His mercy, we can walk in hope, strength, and joy.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your mercies that are new every morning. Help me to rest in Your love and live today with faith and gratitude, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
