Scripture Reading: 2 Corinthians 5:7 — “For we walk by faith, not by sight.”
Reflection
Faith is not primarily about what we can see—it’s about trusting what we cannot yet see. Paul’s words remind us that believers don’t live by visible proof alone, but by the confident assurance of God’s promise. When outcomes are unclear, faith steps forward anyway.
To walk by faith means we choose to rely on God’s character more than our circumstances; we trust His promise more than our panic. When paths grow dark, faith lights the way. When the horizon holds more questions than answers, faith whispers, “He is working.”
Faith that reaches beyond sight also embraces mystery. It holds firm when logic trembles. It says, “Even if I don’t understand, I will believe.” That kind of faith doesn’t always get what it wants—but it always gets what it needs: a deeper relationship with God and a hope that lasts.
Prayer
Father, thank You for calling me to walk by faith and not by sight. When my vision is clouded and my future uncertain, help me to trust You. Make my faith stronger than my fears.
Lord, give me eyes to see beyond what is visible, and a heart to believe in Your unseen work. Help me to rest in Your promises when I cannot trace Your hand. May I trust Your timing, Your wisdom, and Your faithfulness.
When doubt arises, anchor me in Your truth. When hope falters, renew it with Your Spirit. I choose to walk by faith today, trusting that You are with me, guiding me, and leading me forward. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
