Scripture Reading
“He says, ‘Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.’” — Psalm 46:10 (NIV)
Devotional
Life moves quickly, and our hearts often feel restless. But God invites us into stillness. In that quiet, we remember who He is—our refuge, strength, and ever-present help in trouble.
Being still doesn’t mean doing nothing; it means resting in God’s power rather than striving in our own. It’s an intentional pause to remember that He is in control and that His plans will prevail.
When the noise of life overwhelms you, choose to pause. Take a deep breath, whisper a prayer, and remember that God is God—and that is enough.
Prayer
Father, help me to be still and trust You. Quiet my anxious thoughts, and remind me that You are always in control, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
