A Prayer for Spiritual Growth

Prayer Devotional

Spiritual growth is a lifelong journey of becoming more like Christ. It requires daily discipline — prayer, study of God’s Word, and obedience to His voice. Growth doesn’t happen overnight; it blossoms as we abide in Christ, the true vine (John 15:5). When we draw near to Him, His Spirit transforms our hearts, renews our strength, and produces fruit that glorifies God.

Every challenge, every season, is an opportunity for growth. Even in times of pruning, God works to shape us into His image. The more we yield to Him, the more we experience His peace, power, and presence in our lives.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for calling me to grow in grace and in the knowledge of Christ. I confess that sometimes I get weary or distracted, but I desire to know You more deeply and walk in Your truth.

Teach me to remain rooted in Your Word and steadfast in prayer. Help me to grow in love, patience, humility, and faithfulness, reflecting Your character in all I do.

Father, I surrender my heart to Your shaping hand. Continue Your good work in me until the day of Christ Jesus. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
