A Prayer for Spiritual Clarity

Sometimes life feels hazy. We may face choices, crossroads, or seasons of uncertainty where it’s hard to know which direction to go. In those moments, God’s Word becomes our guiding light. The psalmist tells us that Scripture functions as a lamp—illuminating our next steps.

Spiritual clarity is not the absence of questions but having our path lit by God’s truth even when the surroundings are dim. As we draw near to Him, He promises to guide, correct, and reveal what He would have us do. In Christ, the darkness has been pierced by light, and His Word continues to lead believers into truth.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, I come before You desiring clarity. In moments of confusion and uncertainty, shine Your light on my path. Help me to see with spiritual eyes rather than rely on my limited understanding.

Lord, guide me by Your Word and Spirit so that my choices reflect Your will. Give me discernment when multiple paths seem open, and help me to follow where You lead, even if it’s a narrow, unfamiliar route.

Father, teach me to trust that as I step forward, You will confirm the way. May I walk in confidence, not in my own strength but in the illumination of Your truth. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
