A Prayer for Protection and Safety

Scripture Reading: Psalm 91:2 — “I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.’”

In an uncertain world, the promise of God’s protection gives peace to every believer. When fear surrounds us, we can rest knowing that the Lord Himself is our refuge. His presence is our fortress — strong, secure, and unshakable.

True safety doesn’t come from our circumstances but from our confidence in Him. As we trust in God’s faithful hand, we discover that His protection is not only physical but spiritual — guarding our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Prayer

Father, thank You for being my protector and defender. You are my refuge and my strength, my ever-present help in times of trouble. I place my trust in You, knowing that You watch over me and my loved ones day and night.

Lord, surround us with Your angels and keep us safe from harm. Shield us from danger, both seen and unseen. Let Your peace rule in our hearts and drive away every fear that tries to take hold.

Teach me to rest in the assurance of Your presence. Even in uncertain times, help me to remember that You are my fortress and that no weapon formed against me shall prosper. I find my safety in You alone. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
