Scripture Reading
“The joy of the Lord is your strength.” — Nehemiah 8:10 (NIV)
Prayer Devotional
Life’s journey can be filled with ups and downs, yet joy is not dependent on circumstances — it’s found in God’s presence. When we anchor our hearts in Him, we can rejoice even in trials, knowing He works all things together for our good. True joy flows from a grateful heart that trusts God’s plan.
Sometimes, we lose sight of that joy amid busyness or hardship. But when we draw near to God in worship and thanksgiving, He restores our joy and renews our strength. Joy is not fleeting happiness — it is a divine assurance that God is with us every step of the way.
Prayer
Father, thank You for the gift of joy that sustains me through every season. Forgive me for the times I have allowed worry, fear, or disappointment to steal my peace.
Help me to fix my eyes on You, Lord, and to find joy in Your promises, no matter what I face. Remind me daily that You are my source of strength and hope.
Fill my heart with gratitude and a deep sense of contentment in Your love. May my life radiate the joy of knowing You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
