Scripture Reading: Proverbs 10:9 — “Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but whoever takes crooked paths will be found out.”
Prayer Devotional
Integrity is more than doing the right things when others are watching—it is living truthfully before God in every moment. The book of Proverbs reminds us that walking with integrity brings security, whereas hidden compromises eventually come to light. God invites us into a life of open hearts and clean hands.
Honesty opens the door for genuine relationship—with God, with ourselves, and with others. When we live transparently, we reflect the character of Christ, who is the way, the truth and the life. Integrity isn’t just about avoiding wrongdoing; it’s about actively aligning our inner world with God’s standards and inviting Him to shape our motives.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your truth and for calling me to live honestly in Your sight. You see every thought, every motive, every hidden corner of my heart. I ask You to give me a spirit of integrity—help me to walk in truth, both publicly and privately.
Father, reveal any area where I have compromised, concealed, or justified behaviours that don’t honour You. Grant me courage to face them, to confess them, and to change by Your grace. Teach me to be consistent in character—not just when I’m watched, but when I am alone with You.
Lord, let my life become a testimony of authenticity and honour. May I hold fast to Your truth, speak with sincerity, and act with fairness. Use me as a beacon of integrity in a world that often shortcuts truth. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
