Scripture Reading: Colossians 3:13 — “Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.”
Prayer Devotional
Relationships are among life’s greatest gifts—but they can also carry deep wounds when trust is broken, communication fails or hearts are hurt. God invites His people into healing: to forgive as we have been forgiven, to restore what is fractured, and to walk in unity that reflects the gospel.
Healing in relationships often flows from humility, empathy and grace. It requires listening when we’d rather speak, offering kindness when we’d rather judge, and releasing pain when we’d rather hold on. As we embrace Christ’s forgiveness, we become agents of healing in our relationships.
Prayer
Father, thank You for the relationships You have placed around me. You know the joys and the pains, the laughter and the tears. I lift each connection to You and ask for Your healing touch where there is brokenness.
Lord, help me to extend forgiveness where there is bitterness, to seek reconciliation where there is division, and to show love where there has been hurt. Teach me to speak with kindness, to listen with empathy, and to act in humility.
May Your peace renovate my relationships. Let Your love be the foundation of our interactions and Your grace the balm for our wounds. Bring unity where there has been conflict, understanding where there has been confusion, and hope where there has been despair. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
