Scripture Reading: Psalm 37:7 — “Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways.”
Prayer Devotional
Waiting is one of life’s hardest lessons, but also one of faith’s greatest opportunities. In the waiting, God refines our hearts, shapes our character, and deepens our trust. Though it feels slow to us, His timing is never delayed. He is always working — even in silence — preparing the best outcome for those who love Him.
Contentment in waiting comes not from understanding the plan, but from trusting the Planner. When we rest in His promises, peace replaces anxiety and gratitude replaces impatience. The waiting season becomes holy ground where faith matures and hope takes root.
Prayer
Father, thank You for being faithful even in the waiting. You see what I cannot, and Your plans for me are good. Teach me to trust Your timing and to find peace in Your presence.
Lord, quiet my anxious thoughts and fill me with Your patience. Help me to use this season not to worry, but to worship — to draw closer to You and to grow in faith. Let my hope remain anchored in Your Word and not in my circumstances.
May I wait well — with gratitude, expectation, and surrender. When the time is right, let Your purposes unfold beautifully. Until then, help me to be still and content in Your care. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
